Introduced in 2003 and still on sale today, the Tanto has been and continues to be a big success for Daihatsu. Classed as a kei car in Japan, this is a cute, economical and immensely practical car with automatic transmission. It has an interesting asymmetrical design, with the B pillar integrated into the door on the passenger side, giving a large ‘pillarless’ opening when both passenger side doors are opened.
